Clyde the Clown Coloring Contest

Clowns are often used in comics, illustrated texts and other visual aids to capture the attention of younger people - to educate them about important topics.

The good people at the North Carolina Department of Labor (Elevator and Amusement Device Bureau) had just such a scheme at work for their Rider Safety Campaign:

The N.C. Department of Labor is sponsoring a coloring contest for kids in grades K-5 as part of a campaign to keep riders safe at local fairs.

How to enter:

Download a free copy of our coloring contest sheet here.
Color Clyde the Clown.
Mail your entry to the N.C. Department of Labor, Communications Office, 1101 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC 27699-1101.

Entries will be accepted from August 15 through October 23.
Drawings will begin in September and continue through October.

Twelve lucky kids will win $50 gift certificates to Toys 'R' Us.

Winners will be contacted by phone, so be sure to include your contact information.

Winning names will also be posted on our Web site.
